I have a special prayer request to ask of ya’ll. Tomorrow (Thursday) my 91 year old mom will undergo surgery. She broke her arm in 2 places back in January and one of the bones has not healed. She’s worn a cast for 10 weeks but when the doctor removed it yesterday it was obvious he would have to operate. Of course, there are always risks involved in any operation and while this is considered an outpatient procedure, the risks are exacerbated due to her age and brittle bones. The break is so severe the doctor is concerned the bones will “crumble” when he tries to hold them together with screws and/or plates. If that happens, he will have to try and insert a rod.
The surgery is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. CST. I know this is in God’s hands now but I would appreciate all prayers.
Thank you

Most definitely will say prayers for your mama and if you get a chance email me how she is doing.
I know of where you are coming from. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
Four weeks ago my mother (79) went through 10 hour emergency aortic aneurysm surgery. She is still in the hospital but in the rehab section and expected to be released tomorrow. less than 6 months ago too my father had a stroke but he has been doing very well since then too.
All the best for a wonderful and speedy recovery.
Sending prayers right now. Looking forward to hearing an update.
I'll be praying for your Mom today.

All of you have been in my thoughts and prayers since last night. I do hope everything went okay today and anxiously await an update. Please know I'll continue to pray for healing.
Judy,
Prayers heading your way.
Reading this post made me think of my mawmaw. She fell (while climbing a step stool) when she was about 94. She broke a bone in her arm up by her shoulder. While in the hospital she got very sick and stopped eating.
We all prayed for her to be pain free, much to everyones suprise she got better after a few weeks. She lived to be 100 and 6 months. I will pray for your mom a speedy recovery.
Thank you for the sweet comments on my ruffle tote. I never thought to make some for my shop.
Hugs,
Melissa
