Black or White?

I recently showed ya’ll the french door in my kitchen which was painted white.    I asked for input on whether or not to paint it black or leave it white and also whether or not to paint the lower cabinets black.       I got a lot of wonderful responses, and ya’ll are about equally divided on your thoughts.    So here’s what I’ve decided for now:    not to paint the lower cabinets black but I did go ahead and paint the door, just not around each and every glass pane in case I decide to go back to the original white.     So now take a look at the “new” black and give me some feed back on how it looks.    I still can’t decide!

Of course, you’ll have to imagine the panes are painted out black and I’m also considering adding white beadboard wallpaper  under the chair railing……decisions, decisions……

I think I know what a lot of ya’ll will say.   I’ll just have to see if my prediction comes true.
