It’s Foodie Friday again and this week we’re going to eat fresh from the local Farmer’s Market.
Sliced fresh off-the-vine tomatoes
Snap beans (or green beans) and new potatoes
Fresh sliced squash…..
….cooked with purple onion. Cook until tender then salt and pepper to taste
Pork tenderloin seasoned with your favorite seasoning. I use seasoned salt, pepper, garlic salt and a little basil
And you have a healthy, tasty meal…..so easy but so good!
Now any good Southern girl would ordinarily serve made-from-scratch cornbread made in her mama’s black skillet but since we’re trying to watch our weight, I did not make any!
Now head over to Gollum’s blog and check out all the other Foodie Friday posts!

What fun you must've had at the market! I love fresh vegetables--these look superb with your tenderloin!
I am ready for the farmer's market. You are right-no such thing as fat free substitute for cornbread--best not to boher at all :)
You're so lucky to have an open farmer's market. In PA ours opens in July! Everything looks wonderful, but I do so love homemade cornbread! :) Nancy
The food looks delicious! I am ready for some fresh veggies!
That does look nice and healthy. Lucky you!! We don't have anything from a farmer's market or the garden until July at the earliest. Thanks for sharing yours. Sally
Now here's a meal I could have! Looks delish!
I envy you your fresh vegetables -- ours is a while to go!

A Farmer's Market seems so far away for this area!! Everything looks great..especially the tenderloin!!
Yum! All my favorites! I'd add a slice of raw sweet onion, a piece of buttered cornbread and a glass of southern sweet tea. My, oh my! Heaven.
Hugs!
Kat
That looks seriously delicious! Our farmer's market is opening soon and we are looking forward to it.
This is one of our favorite meals. Looks wonderful!! I can't wait until we can have fresh produce from local growers.

It all looks fabulous - I can't wait for my local farmers market to open!
Beautiful tomatoes!! I'm so ready for the Farmers' Market to be in full swing. I love the fresh vegetables of the FM. Love your meal - so healthy!

Hey, girl, now that looks like some good eatin! Can't wait for more of those veggies to come in fresh from the garden.
And I'm totally getting some of those foot products from Bath & Body. I don't always pay to get pedicures, but I need something to use at home for those ugly feet. Thanks for the endorsement!
Your blog is fast becoming one of my favorites. I love it.
Don't forget to stop by mine when you have some time.
I am going to have a "card box" giveaway every month. This drawing will be the last day of April.
Every comment you leave throughout the month will enter your name in the drawing, so if you visit several times and leave several comments, you will have a better chance to win. This NEW blogger was so touched by all the comments I got on the Blog Party, that I decided to make this a monthly GIFT...
Also, if you link to my blog telling about the monthly giveaway, you will have your name entered 10 extra times...How is that for an incentive?
I was so blown away by all the responses that I wanted to email each person personally, but TIME...has not permitted..but I did love reading all of them..I am continuing to introduce my family members and then there will be some fun blogs coming up from Disney World in May. I am so thankful for all my new friends.
Very fresh and delicious looking! ~Yummy. :)
Yum, looks so good. I can't wait to have fresh produce from our own garden again.
