We left her house to go junkin', antiquing, eating (of course), shopping....in other words, a day of retail therapy.
There is an area we went to that I'd visited once before called Cahaba Heights. Rhoda posted about this area in one of her previous posts. Ohhh, a lot of eye candy!
I'm finding myself being drawn to the shabby chic, chippy, worn look of furniture so I really liked this tableOutside are a lot of wrought iron pieces...I thought the prices were a little high
I would love to have this table and chairs (minus the blue fabric). I have a friend who has this table on her patio and I'm hoping she'll sell it to me soon!Hey Rhoda, come back here!
Here is the entrance to her back yard....so pretty!

We had an absolutely wonderful time talking and getting to know each other. I think I've found a new shopping buddy and it's too bad we don't live any closer (on second thought, it might be a good thing cause we'd probably get in a lot of trouble!) We are planning another little shopping excursion this coming Friday. There is another blogger opening her little antiques/flea market shop in a small town about an hour away from both of us. We'll let ya'll know all the fun we have checking that out.

The lampshade looks very good to me...a good trade-off to save that kind of money. Don't give up! This little project has a lot of potential I think.
I love your table and chairs selection...hope that the price comes down next time you visit.
Hi Judy
Sounds like you had a lovely time!
I love that table and chairs, too and I believe I know where I can find one similar. I had a chance to buy one several years ago and didn't. J and I saw the similar one at the lake earlier this year. It looked just about like the one in your photo. It needed new glass. I don't know what I would do with it, but it would be nice to have it for speculation.
Hope your week is wonderful!
Pat
I know ya'll had a great time - I love that color of green - looks like there was plenty of it around!!

Morning Judy! Looks like you two had a great time! I am drawn to the shabby chic look more and more and I love that table. Wish I could get my hands on that flower cart too! Don't spend too much on Friday but have a great time - know you will! - Jeannette
Hey, Judy! you would have to post my backside, ha-ha! Did you find a place for that candelabra yet? I'm sure you will.
We did have a great time & I'm so glad we finally met. Can't wait to do more of those outings.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow too.
Judy is a great gal, in case you didn't already figure that out!

Hey Judy!
Thanks for stopping by "my place" on the web. I LOVE the pictures you posted of the things you and Rhoda found. I'm REALLY into green right now, so I loved to see that green dresser. Nice! I will definately have to make a road trip up to Birmingham and hits those hot spots!
Oh, I can hardly stand it! It must have been so fun getting to go to Rhoda's house!
Glad you had a great time!
