Thanks for stopping by. I know, aren't our moms funny?! I thought she'd never find a border in that store, but she finally did. I think this bathroom is going to look really good when it's all done. My dad will start the painting soon, I'm sure.
I do love my new camera, I don't think you can go wrong with a Canon. Check out the reviews online. Mine is a Powershot A570IS and I bought it online cheaper than the stores.
I walked my sister through the harlequin painting technique on her deck. I had done it on plywood at my old house. Her's was more challenging because of the planks of the deck. Anyway, she used an 18" cardboard template and drew out the squares. If you start in the middle, you'll have it even all the way around. Paint it all the base color first, then go back & do whatever color squares you want to add, every other one. It takes awhile to complete, but I love the look too.
