Back Roads and Small Southern Towns

Tomorrow hubby and I will head out bright and early for a few days.    We have no specific destination in mind….just drive toward north Alabama to see the fall foliage traveling the backroads of Alabama and  passing through small southern towns.   We hope to see some sights like this:

….while driving down a beautiful tree lined road like this….

and I have no doubt we will see something very much like this:
