We’ve Lost One Of Our Own

Yesterday I was saddened to learn that Michelle from the inspiring blog Sweet Something Designs had lost her battle with cancer.      I’ve followed her blog for several years and loved her sweet spirit and creativeness.     Her mother in law has kept us advised of her on-going struggle on Facebook as Michelle had not been able to post anything on her blog since October.

This quote was taken directly from Michelle’s last post back in October 2013.

She leaves behind a husband and two boys.    If you’d like to send her family some love and prayers, I’m sure her family would appreciate it.    You can probably just do that on Michelle Edward’s Facebook page or her blog.

Although I am saddened to hear this I am thankful I stumbled on this today. I look at her blog several times a week hoping to see something from her so now I know. I knew the last post was from last fall wasn't good and I have been watching and wondering. I will send her family a note on facebook. So sad.

I am so very sorry to read this. I looked online all week to see if I could get an update. I've known her and her blog for a long time. She was too young. So sad.

I did not know her, but took a look at her blog and could tell that she was very talented. She had lots of great ideas and a beautiful family. I'm so sorry to hear about her passing! Cancer is such a horrible disease and I hate to hear of anyone suffering with it. It sounds like she battled it for a long time and did all she could. Just heartbreaking that she lost her battle! My FIL just got re-diagnosed with lung cancer again. This will be his 3rd time trying to beat it and now it's in both lungs! Cancer took my grandparents from me too. Awful, awful, awful!!

Oh, Judy-That is so sad. I didn't know her but it is always sad to see someone so young pass away from the Cancer monster. I know she is beyond all pain and hurt now but her family is just starting their journey to freedom from pain. xo Diana

Thank you for letting us know. I did not know Michelle but followed her blog and felt as if I knew her as well as her family. I knew it had been a while since she had posted and I began to worry that something bad had happened. I have been praying for her and her family for a long time. This news saddens me. Cancer took my brother at an early age and so many other loved ones. I will continue to pray for her family. I feel as if I have lost a good friend, which of course I have. God bless!

This so sad. Instead of a war in Afghanistan, I wish we could wage a war on cancer. Maybe we would really do something good for the world!
