Goodbye Mr. Red!

For many years I had a love affair with red walls in my home.    It was warm and cozy and everyone loved it.   But starting this weekend the last of the red walls in my home will be gone!    I had my sunroom painted a luscious shade of red several years ago and loved it but now….not so much.    It’s only taken me…let’s see….2 years to decide on a paint color!     If I let myself think about it, I’ll change my mind a dozen times more so I just picked one of my favorite colors and now it’s too late to turn back.    The sunroom walls will be painted Canvas Natural.     Here it is in Jennifer’s beautiful home at The Old Painted Cottage.

I’ve been lightening up all the rooms in my home for the last couple of years and I can’t wait to get this room done.    The room will be awash in soothing neutrals with a pop of muted turquoise for a little fun!    I have a seagrass rug on top of cream colored tile, a sideboard painted white with a dark stained top and another small chest painted turquoise with a dark stained top as well.     The TV cabinet is a pine armoire I’ve had forever.    I’m making my “famous” drop cloth drapes for the large windows that already have bamboo blinds.     I hope it turns out as good as I envision.     The prep work starts Sunday afternoon but the painter can’t finish up until next Tuesday.    After that I’ll be having lots of fun putting the room together…..I can’t wait to share it with ya’ll!

Now I’ve just got to get the room cleared out so the work can begin….

Can't wait to see it completed Judy! I love the colors you've selected. I am currently loving turquoise!! We painted all of the rooms in our home neutral last year and I am loving it, so easy to decorate around.

You sound just like me! I've done red walls in my house, too. Have fun painting! I'm thinking about painting my dining room this weekend, even though I just painted it a few months ago, lol! Can't wait to see your finished room!

Hi Judy

I just read your post about getting rid of Mr. Red! I went from Raspberry Red walls to Farrow and Ball's Hardwick White (a soft warm gray tone) I adore it and it really freshened up the dining room. It is still warm but in a dirrerent way. I look forward to seeing your new room.

Making changes is fun. Isn't it amazing what a difference just a coat of paint can make?! Looking forward to seeing the before and after photos.

Hugs,

What does "ergonomics" mean, anyway? The word comes from two Greek words that together essentially mean working ("ergon") in harmony with natural laws ("nomoi"). It is operated in. accordance with the law for the purpose of storing goods for other people at profit. Some times a large arrives in part when it is not Convenient for the importer to take in into his custody. During such periods these goods have to be stored somewhere. Similarly, even in trade they have to be stored between the time they are made and the time they are required for use. A public warehouse provides facilities for storing all such goods. It thus render many useful services to the trade. It enables smaller sellers to carry regional stocks. This factor is very important in competitive markets. Practical Training: This is the phase where all the fun starts. Even if you are new to Trucking & Fork Lifting the learning process can be completed in weeks! Obviously, a top notch training course will guarantee that each individual is given the opportunity to put into practice and be aware of the necessary safety techniques and practical skills needed to operate a forklift safely in a work environment.
