Unexpected and Early Christmas Gift

Yesterday driving into work I called my daughter-in-law to tell her about one of the gifts I bought for McKinley (my little granddaughter in Birmingham).      She was talking and I was talking and then she said she had some Christmas news…..(drum roll)….they are pregnant!    Wow!   I about ran off the road.      And what’s so funny is that exactly four years ago Christmas Day they announced they were pregnant with their first….and on August 29, 2005 that baby was born (also the day Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast region).     Jennifer thinks this baby will be born in August 2010.      Of course, we’d love a little boy but just want a healthy baby.    I can’t wait to hold a little one in my arms again!

NEWBORN BABY

What a wonderful (if surprising) Christmas present this is for our family.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Congrats to your family, how exciting!! Exactly 5 years ago today I found out I was pregnant and we announced it to family on Christmas Day. My son was born September 3rd, he was a little stubborn about being born in August. I remember watching the hurricane coverage in the hospital.
Have a wonderful holiday!

Congratulations, grandma! So exciting. I announced to my parents that I was pregnant 2 Christmases ago. What a fun time to reveal happy news like that.

Anyway, I totally feel your pain about your master bedroom woes. That's a shame about the ballard bed. The inability to pair white with it makes it a real challenge. You have a such a sophisticated style and I can't wait to see how you overcome it.
