Decorating with Free Art

Who doesn’t love something free?   But free has to look good, right, can’t look too “free” or it looks cheap…..a word we don’t like to use in decorating our homes.

Recently I saw this photo over here and knew right away it was perfect for my horse-lovin’ granddaughter.     So I clicked over to the Graphics Fairy and printed out the horse print on card stock, got a pretty frame and we’re in business!

Sometime back I saw a framed quote over at another blog (I can’t remember exactly which one but I think it was here….if you know please tell me so I can give proper credit)…..it was perfect for my little grandson Jackson so I created it with the colors and fonts in a Word document, used the same kind of frame I used for Taylor’s horse pic, and now he has a cute frame and print to hang in his room to remind himself of his wonderfulness!

There are a lot of great places to get free prints on line…you just have to look.

BTW, I got the frames at Michael’s 1/2 off!    They were $9.99 each so I got two for the price of one….I love the white mat, I think it gives it a more custom look.

Thanks so much for the visit. I have looked and looked and I can't find the exact sight where I found the sheep or the bunny's but there are so many sights up on the internet. Just google animal prints, animal oil paintings or anything else you can dream up and there will be tons of sights that come up. If I can find them again, I will let you know. Hugs, Marty

Judy! I met your sweet daughter the other day and she got a bag just like yours. Good taste must run in the family.

Talk to you soon,
Kathryn.
