Dining Room Decked Out For Christmas

Let's take a look at what I did in the dining room this year. I usually decorate this room "over the top" (according to my husband) but this year I just could not get a "handle" on what I wanted to do so I just dressed up the sideboard with my Christopher Radko dishes and some candlesticks....everything looks so pretty by candlelight.

I saw these Christopher Radko dishes last year at Target and thought they were so pretty....I got service for 8

A few years ago I picked up this pretty platter at Steinmart and I've used it every year since

The only thing I added on the dining room table was the wreath circling my collection of crystal candlesticks and big chunky fat candles

I hope you enjoyed seeing the dining room all dressed up for Christmas. This year we will be going to my sister's lake house so we won't be entertaining at home. Still, I love to use my Christmas dishes and set up the sideboard for a Christmas buffet.

Later this week you'll see my den and maybe if ya'll are good I'll show you a room that most people don't think about decorating for Christmas....come back and you'll see what I mean!

Judy it's absolutely beautiful. I really like the platter. Also, the candles in the middle of the table are so pretty. You will be able to leave those out for awhile.

Judy, it's beautiful! Love your Target dishes & that platter is gorgeous. I need a few Christmas dishes myself. Thanks for joining the party. We have to get together after Christmas. Maybe I can get down there one of these days too.

Judy,
Everything looks so pretty. I love me some Christopher Radko too. We have collected his ornaments for years. When we used to go to market for our store in Atlanta the Radko showroom always gave us inspiration for the store decor every year. We carried his original Christmas dishes at the store but the price was very high so we had to really mark them down to move them, thankfully my friend Cheryl that worked for me got them so I still get a chance to visit them.
A few years ago we bought the Target Christmas tree dishes of his that I really like too.
This home tour is really fun. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.
Hugs,
Sue

Judy,

It looks very elegant and not over the top at all. I LOVE the candles on the table.

Where did you find garland with snow? I have been looking.

Very pretty! I love how elegant, but simple it is. I love the little crystal drop hanging from your chandelier! I have debated whether to do that to mine, and now that I have seen yours, I will have to steal your idea...THANKS!!!
