I quickly threw together a little vignette in the foyer Sunday afternoon when I was on a cleaning spree. A while back our handy man friend made me some log slices (I think that's what they're called) and when I was vacuuming in the sun room I found one under the loveseat!
I took some book bundles I made and placed them on the "log" and topped the books with some faux pumpkins that I painted last year. It needed a little something else so I grabbed my large round cutting board from the kitchen and placed it behind everything....and called it a day!
Last year I spray painted a bunch of Dollar Tree pumpkins white since I couldn't find any baby boo pumpkins and this was the next best thing (and they last a lot longer too)!
I'm also working on a little porch project that I'll share with ya'll soon.....
The weather here is simply gorgeous....not much humidity during the day and down in the 40's at night! How's the weather in your "neck of the woods"?

I love my oversized cutting board that I ordered from Decor Steals

Judy,
ReplyDeleteYour Fall décor looks great! Goota love those DT pumpkins :) I hope you are planning on coming to The Chapel Market on Saturday...I would love to finally meet you in person.
Blessings,
Linda
Looks great Judy! I always enjoy peeks at your pretty house.
ReplyDeleteLove it Judy! I am all for simplicity these days.
ReplyDeletePretty vignette, Judy! I had some ceramic white/cream pumpkins from the dollar store and I couldn't find them this year. I did manage to get three real little white ones and that was just the right amount for my use.
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been not bad temperature-wise, but we have been getting a lot of rain. It's been making it difficult for me to get out and walk a little bit because every time I want to head out it seems to start sprinkling!
Your foyer looks so pretty Judy and loving all your accessories, especially that gorgeous soup tureen!
ReplyDeleteThat little vignette you "threw together" looks just great! It looks perfect there. I like simple, too. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteJudy not only do I love the pretty vignette I love that pretty table and mirror as well!!
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty vignette! I've seen those log "slices" at Michaels before. Who knew? At least you got yours from your own backyard. I can't seem to find any boo pumpkins either. Boo Hoo! Guess I need to go to a pumpkin farm to find them. I have a cutting board like yours too. I found mine at a local home interiors store. I like how you used yours.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to the Chapel? We are so maybe we will see you. I hear you on those pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Your foyer looks so festive and pretty! Our weather has been gorgeous too. I wonder how winter will be. Have a great weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteHello Judy.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet comment. It meant a lot to me!
Wishing you a very Blessed week!

It looks amazing, Judy…love the use of the wood cheese board…so pretty!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Judy! Beautiful way to welcome your guests! Enjoy your pretty weather! Xo Kathy@The Daily Nest
ReplyDeleteYour tree "slice" is so pretty. My brother cut down a tree and I begged him to slice me some pieces off to use in decorating. Most of the warped and wobble when I try to put something on them.
ReplyDeleteEverything you do always looks so pretty!
Happy fall to you!
Love your table. Wish I was better at setting vignettes. Wish you were my neighbor!!!
