I have been working on my post for this week about our trip to Calloway Gardens and the Fantasy In Lights with the family last weekend but then last night I found out the 17 year old grandson of a friend of mine was killed in a car accident Saturday night. Right now I just don’t feel like being all perky and upbeat and posting about family fun, I’m sure you’ll understand.
I will resume posting about that trip and some Christmas pictures around the house later….please keep this family in your prayers. Thank you.
Prayers going up for this situation and the family. God bless.
ReplyDeleteMy deepest sympathies go out to your friend's family. My heart just aches for them.

ReplyDeleteSoooo sad. I can't imagine. I just stopped and prayed for them. A death at the holidays is especially hard.
ReplyDeleteI saw a quote recently and it's so true -
"The holidays are a magnifying glass to the realities of life. The joys are more joyful, the sorrows much deeper".
Hugs sweet friend,
