Hacked E-Mail Alert!

Apparently my Yahoo account has been hacked into and my contacts in my address books are getting crazy e-mail notices supposedly sent from me!    I’m closing out that Yahoo account and establishing a new one so if you get anything from “me” in the next few days that seems suspicious, please don’t open it and delete it immediately.    I’ll be putting my new Yahoo account on my blog soon.     If you need to get in touch with me just use my AOL e-mail which is jdy277@aol.com.

Thanks!

  1. Judy, I did receive an e-mail from your old e-mail address, but knew it wasn't from you when I read it. No harm was done, but I'm glad to know you closed that account.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I know it was upsetting, to say the least.

  2. That's awful. I hate people do these kinds of things. Everyone wants what someone else has.

Hey I am in Citronelle (mobile county) - where are you?

  3. Wanted to read your Alert in case there was some new kind of hackers out there but it's pretty much the same as many of my friends (and me) have had in the past 6 months.. boy, those hackers even took over my FB and I had to close that out also.. I recieved e's from my bank, JCPennies, Kohls and others telling me someone was trying to get into my accounts... was a mess for about two weeks!
So glad you were able to solve yours quick!

  4. So sorry that you have been hacked- Consider using Gmail-it is so user friendly and they really keep an eye on stuff like that. They are vigilant about following up on stuff too. xo Diana
