We try to eat light a couple of times a week but it’s really hard to come up with ideas we both like that are tasty and easy. One of the meals I “cooked up” recently was a wedge salad. Here’s what I used:
Lettace, tomatos, onions, bacon bits, grated cheddar cheese, blue cheese, homemade ranch dressing
All I did was cut up a head of lettace into wedges then we each built our salad to suit our tastes. I used EVERYTHING on mine and topped it off with homemade ranch dressing.
The only bad thing is after we ate our salads, we went out for a strawberry milkshake! We’re s-o-o-o bad!!!!!
Judy you're so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know which one sounds better to me right now. The salad or the strawberry milkshake? Yum!
which grocer did you use that had the neat already-diced onions and tomatoes?! yummy salad!
ReplyDeleteYummmm. Bacon.

Hello! I found your blog through Kelly's Korner. I love your neat decorating ideas! Also the salad you made looks delicious. I've had one similar at Biaggi's restaurant only with bleu cheese dressing.
ReplyDeletewell, you need to save room for ice cream! It looked wonderful. Salads can be so stunning in their presentation! One thing I miss about summer!
ReplyDeleteThat salad looks so good.
ReplyDeleteMy blog has just been growing like a crazy weed and I haven't been able to get by for as many visits. I miss all my blog friends.
Come for a visit and see both of my new parties for the week. They are up every week and I hope you will participate.

Hi Judy! Nice to meet you. Coming over from The DIY Showoff. This salad looks yummy and your philosophy sounds like mine. I think salad and a strawberry shake make a "balanced" meal. Right? :-)
