Oh My Lord! If I eat one more thing this weekend, I'm going to explode! I've done really good on my "diet" for the past few weeks, saving up to "pig out" on the cruise to Mexico, but this weekend I blew it! Saturday hubby and I went shopping for clothes for him (big mistake - he walks in and walks out of a store faster than anyone I know). When we walked by the Cinnabon counter, I knew I just had to indulge in one little bitty bite. Well, as it turned out, we each had one mini-bon apiece! Then Saturday night we went out for Mexican! (I might have had one little margarita too)
Something this ooey-gooey and delish should be sinful!
Sunday we went to Birmingham to see my son and his family before our trip. On the way up, I said I would love to go to P.F. Chang's for lettace wraps but that I was going to let them decide where to eat. We met them close to their neighborhood and they wanted to go to P.F. Chang's!!! After eating lunch, the fellas took baby girl home for a nap and my mom, DIL and me went for a little retail therapy. Guess where we stopped on the way home?
Dairy Queen!!!! Can we say
"Waffle Cone Turtle Sundae?"
Of course, the sweetest part was a little granddaughter love!
Daddy holding the "Hello Kitty" purse while she gives me a sweet smile
Sweetness!
When I saw your title, I just had to laugh! I've never heard anyone but my dad say that...altho we try to encourage him not too!
ReplyDeleteDairy Queen...pecan cluster blizzard. Oh my...I hate my diet!
I will not be able to rest until I go to Dairy Queen now.....

Ahhh, what an adorable little angel she is!
ReplyDeleteI have pigged out for the last 3 days & I'm miserable, not to mention the fact that my clothes are becoming too tight. Wonder if hypno-therapy works...
What a precious little granddaughter, Judy.
ReplyDeleteThat "minibon" looks heavenly and made my mouth water.
Oh Judy; Your grand daughter is so cute, what a doll. And all the food looked so good. Hey have some fun, enjoy all that goes with the cruse even the food.... Once in a while it is ok to go color out side the lines. lol
ReplyDeleteHugs;

Lettuce wraps rank right up there on my top ten "love to eat" list. Discovered them while hubby and I were dating so they hold a special place in my heart. And it's been forever since I've been to
ReplyDeleteDairy Queen but I love that too. Sounds like you had a yummy weekend!
I would say I was "full as a tick" when we lived in Virginia Beach and they would laugh at me! Somehow, I can say it at home (SC) and no one bats an eye!
