What a lot of cute ideas you all have suggested for my little bug. As luck would have it, I did not get my VW today but will have to wait until tomorrow (you know how "red tape" works!). Anyway, here are some of the names that have been submitted for consideration:
Buggin J (Tara)
Bugs4Me (Brenda)
Gramsbug or Jgramsbug (Rhonda)
Bug4J or Jsbug (Kat)
Ladybug (Southern Lady)
Jbug (Nona)
jtrbug (Nancy) - meaning jitterbug
....and a few others I thought of:
4Mimi (my grandchildren call me MiMi and my SUV car has 4-Judy)
judybug
mybug
MissPriss (husband's suggestion - can't imagine how he came up with this!)
There is a 7 letter limit on personalized plates so I can't use more than 7 letters. Of course, whatever I decide to use may already be taken when I go to the DMV so I am glad I have so many names to chose from in case I have to go to Plan B!

Love Bug!
This is my answer to the high cost of gas....while I love my big beautiful SUV, I hate hearing my hubby moan about the price of filling it up....so I decided to get a little love (bug) to toodle around in. I wanted a convertible but we found this one "for sale by owner" that has been babied and taken care of. It has a sun roof so that will work! I rode by the guy's house we bought it from to take a picture, today he's getting it serviced for me. We found this late Saturday afternoon after we had spent the day at a car dealership and had decided on an Altima. If I got the Altima, we were going to sell the SUV but since I'm getting this little bug, I'm going to keep the SUV. Can't you see me, the twins and other granddaughter riding around, radio up and our hair blowing in the wind?
Okay, now I need ya'll's suggestions. My SUV has a personalized Auburn tag that says 4-Judy. Hubby asked me if I wanted a personalized tag for the bug and I really do but I don't know what I want it to say. I don't want "Luv Bug" but something more personal to me and/or a VW bug. I would love any suggestions ya'll might have for the tag. Let me know what ya'll come up with ASAP cause I'm getting the car tomorrow!

Summer Garden Tour 2008
Tracey at A Cottage Industry is hosting a summer garden tour. If you are interested in joining the fun, you can check out her post here about the rules. She will post all pictures on June 18th.
This sounds like it will be a great way to share our outdoor spaces and get a little inspiration from each other.
See you in the garden!

Garden Wedding
Last weekend was sooo very busy! On Saturday we had the twins 4th birthday party. Then on Sunday Shannon's sister-in-law (husband's little sister) got married in her parents' home in the garden. Both days were perfect weather for outdoor activities.....not to hot, just absolutely perfect for being outdoors. Taylor was one of three flower girls....her other grandmother had bought their little dresses to match the bridesmaids dresses, which were strapless daffodil yellow sundresses. While the wedding was not an extravagent event, its simplicity and setting were beautiful just the same.
This picture is out of order. I somehow deleted it during editing (which I'm bad about doing) but I loved it for what it represents and I wanted to be sure it was included in the wedding pictures.
I just had to take this picture of the bride-to-be as she peeked in the bathroom to see how Taylor was doing (look at her tan!)
Two beauties - Taylor and Kayla
Almost ready with just a touch of lip gloss
Is it time yet?

When Kayla was in high school she was in a beauty pagent. Kayla was only 8 years old when Shannon and Don (Kayla's brother) started dating so she's known Shannon almost all her life. She was asked to nominate the person she admired most and she choose Shannon. Kayla said that she admired Shannon for not only her outward beauty, but for her inner beauty and kindness and that she hoped she could be like Shannon when she grew up. This picture captures the love these two have for each other.
When we got to the bride's home, Shannon had rolled Taylor's hair and she was waiting to be "beautified"...
Little pink toenails (polish got a little smeared)

Happy Birthday!
Four years ago today (May 21st) the most wonderful thing happened to our family! At 5:00 a.m. Taylor Elisabeth made her entrance into this world and at 5:02 a.m. Jackson Austin followed! To see how they have grown is unbelievable....in fact it's hard for me to realize they are now 4 and will be going to kindegarten next year!
Shannon had their birthday party in her backyard Saturday afternoon, so much fun, and so much water!
Jackson takes a swing with his new bat
No, Daddy, I don't want to get out!
Is all this for me???? (This is the grass skirt she got at the beach)
