More Black & White!

I was so proud of my little plate I stamped last night (see post below). Left it on the plate stand while we went to see the grandchildren and when we got home, the black paint had run all down the plate!! I wasn't too upset cause I really wanted to use the rub ons. After work today, I ran to Wal Mart - no rub-ons like I wanted....next door to A.C. Moore (no rubs-ons)...finally to Hobby Lobby.....after strolling down several aisles and about to give up, I found a sheet that had some pretty little designs I liked. I grabbed the last sheet and high tailed it out of there! While hubby was firing up the grill, I got creative. These are the plates that had been hiding out in the storage building...if you look closely you'll see a few dings and chips. Anyway, I now have THREE black and white plates!

I added the little "wings" at the bottom

Not sure which is right side up...I guess I can turn it either way

Now this little green plate sits on the bookcase in my office. I had one little rub on left and decided to use it on the green plate. It's not really big enough and is a funny shape, but until I can find another set of rub ons, it will stay.

  3. I love those rub-ons too! And I like how you made the little plate set. Amazing what a little rub-on can do to a plate, huh?

  8. They look great! What type of ink did you use? When I stamped my plate it didn't run or smear?
